About the wine:
Syrah on Sandstone is a new addition to the estate’s Landscape series.
The wine has a medium ruby coloured centre, fading to a shade of purple towards the rim. It is a pleasantly aromatic wine. The glass is filled with aromas of red berries, violets, white pepper and a sweet undertone of cherry cigar.
This is a dry, full-bodied wine with soft, round tannins and a lingering finish. This Syrah was aged in 500L barrels for 18 months of which 30% was new French oak.
This is a beautiful wine to have either on its own, or with a hearty meal. I thoroughly enjoyed this wine. From its captivating aromas through to the flavour-packed finish it delivers, this wine does not disappoint!
