About the wine:
Gabriëlskloof Elodie is part of the Landscape Series. This series aims to show the best of Gabriëlskloof's vineyards and winemaking. Elodie is an old vine wine, made from Swartland Chenin Blanc vines that are 35 years or older.
Elodie has a golden straw-yellow colour with citrus, floral notes, almonds and dried pineapple on the nose and palate. It has a natural acidity and was fermented in old French oak barrels. It has an honest and organic mouthfeel to it, but still reflects complexity and elegance.
This medium bodied wine has a 7-year ageing potential and can be enjoyed any time of day or night.
